He is a specialist of art history and visual culture working on the interaction between art, knowledge,e and society with a special focus on multicultural and transcultural phenomena.\u00a0Pascal\u00a0Dubourg\u00a0Glatigny\u00a0is the initiator and facilitator of the research project militrakonto (<a href=\"https:\/\/mondmilito.hypotheses.org\/militrakonto-english\">https:\/\/mondmilito.hypotheses.org\/militrakonto-english<\/a>). The collaborative website was founded in 2018 and aims at collecting sources and produce historical analysis on the life and action of worldwide Esperanto-speakers in the period around WWII, from the time of the growing fascism at the beginning of the 1930\u2019s up to the death of Stalin in 1953.\u00a0<\/p><p>Email: <a href=\"mailto:pascal.dubourg@cnrs.fr\">pascal.dubourg@cnrs.fr<\/a><\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t<\/section>\n\t\t\t\t<section class=\"elementor-section elementor-top-section elementor-element elementor-element-5233ee9 elementor-section-boxed elementor-section-height-default elementor-section-height-default\" data-id=\"5233ee9\" data-element_type=\"section\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-container elementor-column-gap-default\">\n\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-column elementor-col-100 elementor-top-column elementor-element elementor-element-9c356dd\" data-id=\"9c356dd\" data-element_type=\"column\">\n\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-wrap elementor-element-populated\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-element elementor-element-3de4b5a elementor-widget elementor-widget-text-editor\" data-id=\"3de4b5a\" data-element_type=\"widget\" data-widget_type=\"text-editor.default\">\n\t\t\t\t<div class=\"elementor-widget-container\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<h5><strong>Denis Eckert<\/strong><\/h5><p><a href=\"https:\/\/www.parisgeo.cnrs.fr\/spip.php?article8610&amp;lang=en\">Denis Ekcert<\/a> is CNRS\u00a0<span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">research professor at the Campus Condorcet in Paris-Aubervilliers (Centre G\u00e9ographie-Cit\u00e9s) and associated researcher at the Centre Marc Bloch in Berlin.<\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">He is a specialist of human geography, working in different fields:<\/span><\/p><div><ul><li class=\"StylePar\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">the recent migration trends and border issues in Eastern Europe (mostly in and around the Ukraine)<\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/div><div><ul><li class=\"StylePar\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">the global diffusion of scientific ideas and practices.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/div><div><ul><li class=\"StylePar\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">the early decades of the Esperanto movement.<\/span><\/li><\/ul><\/div><div><p class=\"StylePar\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">\u00a0<\/span><span style=\"font-size: 16px;\">Esperantist movement with its early global diffusion patterns has become one of his main research interests. He is conducting a research project funded by EHESS (Paris) on the early corpuses of Esperanto textbooks and dictionaries (1887-1914).<\/span><\/p><\/div><div><p class=\"StylePar\"><span lang=\"EN-US\">In co-operation with B. Struck and M. Koschek in St Andrews), and with the NETCONF project (M.
